Nae judges whether patent rights should be granted to inventions that submitted as patent applications to IPOS by examining inventions from a technical standpoint and considers the feasibility, technicality and industrial applicability of an invention, then he discusses and negotiates over the details of the final report with inventors and their patent attorney. Prior to patent examination, Nae was responsible for promoting IP awareness and the value of IP management to SMEs, and catalysing the growth of the IP sector by facilitating the building of IP Management capabilities in SMEs. In his consultancy, Nae consulted with and advised C-level executives and their board members on IPM issues, and integration of IPM strategies with their business strategies, IP management lifecycle of creation, ownership, protection and exploitation of IP.
